The Leap through that Window

Museum Roof“When God closes a door He opens a window”.
This quotation is often used by people for consolation when situations don’t turn out well.

However I believed that our God, like any good parent, has reasons for closing doors in our lives.
Perhaps there is danger out there that we are unaware of?
Perhaps that door opens to the road of perdition?
Or perhaps the new window can lead us to holiness if we dare to venture out?

Whatever it is, I hope to be like a trusting child holding on tight to my Father’s hand to take the leap of faith through that newly opened window.
For this God is our God for ever and ever;
He will be our guide even to the end. Ps 48:14 (NIV)     By B

  1. Lovely photo and message! “I hope to be like a trusting child holding on tight to my Father’s hand to take the leap of faith through that newly opened window.” That even sounds like fun! We should line up like children waiting for a fair/carnival ride.
